As part of our advocacy efforts, ABC Foundation is collaborating with four (4) other NGOs founded by the wives of Governors of Ogun, Kwara, Cross River and Niger states and Roche Pharmaceutical to map out and implement strategies for improved cancer control activities in each of the five states represented and the country at large.
During the 2 day summit, the group discussed barriers to effective cancer control in the country and how these barriers can be eliminated. Strategies were mapped out for engaging key policymakers who can facilitate improved cancer awareness, prevention and care across the country and a visit was made to Asi Ukpo Oncology Centre, Calabar.
