On the 2nd of October 2026, passionate professionals, advocates, community leaders, and stakeholders came together for our annual Pink Month Cancer Prevention Training.
This year’s theme, “Unmute: Synergizing and Amplifying Our Voices in Cancer Prevention, Advocacy and Community Action,” speaks to the importance of using our voices, knowledge and platforms to create greater awareness and encourage action.

The University of the Third Age (U3A) has conferred a Fellowship Award on Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs Florence Ajimobi, Founder and CEO of the Access to Basic Medical Care Foundation, in recognition of her dedicated service to United Nations programmes on Ageing and her outstanding contributions to Lifelong Learning (LLL) and inter-generational cooperation.

We were honoured to receive the French International U3A delegation, led by its Global President Prof. François Vellas (France), at our facility — Access to Basic Medical Care Foundation, Ibadan Oyo state.
