Access to Basic medical Care Foundation Outreach

According to WHO, one of three adults have elevated blood pressure (Hypertension), a disease responsible for half of the deaths due to stroke and heart disease.

Unfortunately in Africa, more than 40% of the adult population is estimated to have hypertension. with a significant proportion of these not diagnosed.

To address this issue, we at ABC foundation through community-based programs and health outreaches in our clinics run health education and health promotion sessions.

We encourage people to adopt healthy lifestyles, eat a low sodium diet, exercise regularly and periodically get screened for hypertension.

We provide free clinical consultations and follow-up monitoring free anti-hypertensive medications and we facilitate access to laboratory/diagnostic services for over 1500 people every week across our 11 porta-cabin clinics.
