January has been designated cervical cancer health awareness month and provides a chance to raise awareness on the ills of cervical cancer. Cervical cancer can be prevented through regular screening and appropriate follow up tests if necessary.
To mark cervical cancer month, the Foundation is embarking on free screening exercises in order to encourage women to get tested. These screening exercises shall take place at the Agodi Gate Clinic on the 26th of January 2017 and in the Egbeda (Gbagi) Clinic on the 31st of January 2017.
We encourage all female members of the public to utilise this free service.
