On Friday, 13th of January 2017, we were at Petra Ministry, New Adeoyo road, Ring-road Ibadan for an outreach program on Cancer and its Prevention. Dr. Lawrence delivered an elaborate lecture on Cervical, Colorectal, Ovarian and Prostate Cancer.
Dr. Lawrence emphasized the importance of regular screening and mammogram and she encouraged the women to visit the hub for a mammogram and regular check-up.
At the end of the outreach, the Foundation distributed free breast self-examination kits to all the women in the audience. Well over 50 men and women benefited from the outreach program.
